Keeping lab coats out of landfills —
one campus at a time.

Most lab coats are worn once… then thrown away.

Every year, thousands of lab coats end up in landfills — not because they’re unusable, but because students outgrow programs, change fields, or graduate.

Meanwhile, incoming students face the cost of buying new lab gear, creating unnecessary financial and environmental strain.

ReCoat exists to bridge this gap. We collect, clean, and redistribute lab coats at no cost so that fewer coats go to waste and more students are supported.
